Money 8020 ("we", "us") operates money8020.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to contact us. It covers our rate-alert email signup and ordinary website analytics.

What we collect

• Rate-alert signup: the email address you submit, the timestamp, the page you signed up from, and your confirmation that you agree to this policy.
• Server and security logs: standard request metadata (for example IP address, user agent, and referrer) that hosting providers may record to operate and protect the site.
• Analytics: aggregated usage data through Google Analytics 4 when enabled, such as page views and events like offer clicks or rate-alert signup attempts. We configure events so form field values are not sent as event parameters.

Why we collect it

• To send rate and product-update emails you requested.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To measure which pages and calls to action are useful.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share rate-alert emails with advertisers for their own marketing.

Legal bases and consent

Rate-alert signup is consent-based. The form requires an affirmative checkbox linking to this policy before submit. You can withdraw consent by emailing us to unsubscribe. Analytics and hosting logs are used for legitimate site-operation interests.

Retention

• Rate-alert emails: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we shut down the alert program, whichever comes first.
• Server logs: retained only as long as our host keeps them for security and operations (typically days to weeks).
• Analytics: retained according to our GA4 property settings.

Processors

We may use infrastructure and email vendors to store signup records or send messages (for example Vercel for hosting and, when configured, an email service provider). Those vendors process data only to provide their service to us.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Email privacy@money8020.com to request access, correction, deletion, or an unsubscribe from rate alerts. We will respond within a reasonable period.
